They will be used by other modules.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/token\">http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/token\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Path Auto<\/h2>\n<p>Drupal stores content in nodes. \u00a0Path Auto allows you to use URL aliases like<em>\/category\/my-node-title<\/em>\u00a0instead of\u00a0<em>\/node\/123<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/pathauto\">http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/pathauto<\/a><\/p>\n<p>When you enable Pathauto after installing, if you see Token is not active, activate it as well.<\/p>\n<h2>Field Types<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/references\">http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/references<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Enable Node Reference, References and User Reference.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/field_group\">http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/field_group<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/link\">http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/link<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The links module allows you to add links to any content type you add later. \u00a0This is a key module for adding links to content and other sites.<\/p>\n<h2>Media<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/media\">http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/media<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You may get the prompt \u201cYou must enable the File entity module to install Media. \u00a0Would you like to continue with the above?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Click the Continue button.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Text Editor<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/bueditor\">http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/bueditor\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Allows some basic text editing capability with buttons in the content text boxes (where you enter content).<\/p>\n<h2>Groups<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/entity\">http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/entity<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/features\">http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/features<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/panels\">http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/panels<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Organic Groups (called OG) is a key module.<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/og\">http:\/\/drupal.org\/project\/og\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you are prompted with \u201cYou must enable the Page manager, Views content panes modules to install OG example. \u00a0Would you like to continue with the above?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Click the Continue button to install OG.<\/p>\n<p>If you are prompted to rebuild the content access permissions, click the\u00a0Rebuild permissions\u00a0link to do so (see image below) then when prompted again , click the Rebuild permissions button to confirm you want to do so.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/inkprov.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/OG_Content_access_permissions.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/inkprov.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/OG_Content_access_permissions.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"694\" height=\"612\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now on to Date module &#8211;\u00a0<a title=\"Install Key Drupal Modules \u2013 Part 3\" href=\"http:\/\/inkprov.com\/blog\/installing-drupal-modules-continued\/\">Install Key Drupal Modules &#8211; Part\u00a03<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Follow the same steps you did in Part 1 for the other modules and install the following modules: Remember to pick the 7.x releases that end in gz and to not use Development releases.
